Amethyst here - I think I'm old enough to write for myself now!   I really want a part time job, and to learn to drive, but parents.. ugh.. never seem to have enough time, and I don't know if dad will let me learn to drive in his police cruiser.  


And I have to find a date for the prom, ugh so much to do so little time, I don't know how my parents do it!  I've decided I might get a job at the book store, I love to read, hopefully I can still go to the prom! or lets just say I'm going regardless, even if I have to skip work! 


After much searching I found a few boys who might take me to the dance, though the school photos made Derik look way better than he really is, after polity talking to him for a bit I decided he seemed nice enough but he was nothing to look at, (reminds me of Arlo Bunch from Sunset Valley!)

So I moved on and found Vivek, strange name, but kind of a sweetie.  I asked if he wanted to go to the dance, he said YES! I can't wait!  He seems really nice.

Vivek and I soon met up and decided to watch the stars.  I placed my hand on his, he seemed surprised... I thought it was obvious I was totally flirting with him!  Ugh, stupid boys.  I think he got the hint at the end of the night.

Vivek was awesome at the dance such a gentleman!  He even asked me if we wanted to go steady! I said yes of course, I'd be an idiot not to!

All I can say is... *Swoon*.....

Finally Dad taught me how to drive... IN THE POLICE CRUISER!  That's right, I got to drive the police cruiser, Dad didn't however let me turn on lights OR sirens... whats up with that?

Finally my birthday!  I'm going to be an adult, my parents threw me a party, it was awesome, everyone came, including Vivek.  I wish he was an adult I'd marry him tonight! On my birthday!  Just have to wait to move out I guess, and I am going to move out soon, well after graduation that is.
